Fed: Deputy PM says enough is enough on interest rates
CANBERRA, Dec 3 AAP - Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson said he hoped today's interest
rate rise would be the last for a while.
"I have a very high regard for the Reserve Bank board and I know that they take into
account all the things that they must, but I do want to say that I trust enough is enough,"
he told reporters.
"(I trust) that these measures now will send the necessary signals to those part of
the economy that the bank's been worried about overheating."
